Teacup Dogs Agility Association was formed nearly 20 years ago to provide a venue for small dogs to compete and experience course challenges that are comparable to the course challenges which face large dogs in other popular venues. Obstacles and distances are scaled down to a size more appropriate to the small dog’s size. Today’s TDAA features standard courses and obstacles similar to other venues, but also includes over 100 varieties of games designed to test speed, handling and distance work. Some games are familiar ones played in other venues, some involve a high degree of handler strategy, and others are just plain fun.
We will be using TDAA preferred size equipment (16” Tunnels, 3’8” Tall A-Frame, 36” high Dog Walk, 8’ Teeter with 13” apex). All dogs measuring 20″ or less, who are at least 12 months of age are welcome. Please note that the dog must be able to safely navigate the obstacles which may be a limiting factor for some larger dogs.
