Agility Workshops February 24^th 2024

“The Way We Weave” with Audrey Vojtech

and

“Every Which Way But Loose” with Tim Vojtech

Come join us for some fun workshops at NOCI with our friends, Audrey & Tim!

Audrey will be working with us on our weave proofing. This will help you with Distance, Distraction, and Duration! ~The keys to a fluid performance.

Tim will be working with us on handling turns with the 3 basic handling techniques: front crosses, rear crosses, and blind crosses.

Audrey’s first workshop of the day:

10A-Noon/ Weaving with the novice weaver. These will be early weavers or otherwise dogs needing moderate to heavy support to complete the 12 weaves. (For those who use channels for training, you must have closed the channels and the dog must be weaving without guides. )

Audrey’s second workshop of the day:

1-3P/ Weaving with the advanced weavers.  These dogs will not need as much heavy support in the weaves but need to proof things like motion changes, sending, driving into distractions, etc.

Tim’s first workshop of the day:

10A-Noon/ Front Cross and Rear cross training on course.  Dogs need to be trained well enough that they can run at least 10 obstacles on a course that is compiled of jumps and tunnels. This is a good opportunity for teams currently training at beg/intermediate & advanced levels.

Tim’s second workshop of the day:

1-3P/ Front Cross & Blind cross training on course. Dogs need to be trained well enough that they can run at least 10 obstacles on a course that is compiled of jumps and tunnels. This is a good opportunity for teams currently training at beg/intermediate & advanced levels.

There will be 7 working spots in each workshop and 5 auditing spots.

To secure your spot, please email me at and I will respond within a day or so. I will be sending this out to current students first and then the full membership. I will prioritize the enrolled students but will take first received.

Cost:

**Working spot – $55 members  $60 non-members

**Auditing spot – $10 members  $15 non-members
