March 23 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Agility Workshops March 23rd

“So you think you can dance?”  With Audrey Vojtech
and
“Who’s line is it anyway?” With Tim Vojtech

Come join us for more FUN workshops with Audrey and Tim!!! Registration by email starts March 2nd at Noon.  Audrey will be working with us on our moves. Tim will be working with us on our lines. Everything is geared towards your progress as a team!!

AM Workshops are 10AM-12PM

1) Audrey’s first one will feature Cones and Tunnels!

This workshop will be ideal for foundation training as well as beginners through intermediate wanting to strengthen drive, handling, and cuing. Prerequisite is the dog knowing how to go around a cone and go into a tunnel. This will be a fast fun and challenging workshop for both you and your dog. We did this once in 2023 and it filled very fast. All feedback was extremely positive. You’ll learn a lot more about agility handling than just a tunnel and a cone cue. It’s an eye-opening experience.

2) Tim’s first workshop will feature lines, lines, and more lines!

You’ll learn about the importance of knowing where your dog’s line is, where your line is, and how the two must work together to flow well on an agility course. This will be ideal for those sequencing at least 10 obstacles , as well as, anyone who feels they need to understand better where they need to be on course to cue better and make less mistakes in handling.  There will only be jumps and tunnels used in this workshop.

PM Workshops are 1PM-3PM

3) Audrey’s second workshop will feature Fancy Skills for the Everyday Handler!

Have you ever wondered how to achieve some of those fancy moves you see other handlers doing but think it’s just past you? Wonder no more! Audrey will give you some practical information and show you how to really move a little fancier and incorporate it into your every day handling with your agility dog. This workshop is mostly ideal for the intermediate and advanced handlers. However, if you are interested in this and you’ve been in a beginners class for a while, ask me if it will be a reasonable fit.

4) Tim’s second workshop will feature Skills and Drills!

This workshop will be more advanced. It will help you in analyzing a course and navigating it. This type of workshop is set up for those who really want to hone their skills as a team. It concentrates on areas on a course that could make you wonder what is the best way to choose handling and where to cue your dog. This workshop will be ideal for the intermediate and advanced teams. It is required in this workshop that dogs should be fairly well trained on all agility equipment and have experience running larger course work.

There will be 7 working spots in each workshop and 5 auditing spots.

To secure your spot, please email me at and I will respond within a day or so. I will be sending this out to current students first and then the full membership. I will take first received.

Cost per workshop:

**Auditing spot – $10 members  $15 non-members

Please make payment when I confirm your spot in this workshop.  I will be giving folks a PayPal link. I’m very excited to have Audrey and Tim back again and can’t wait to see the wonderful progress our NOCI teams will have!  ~ Tracey Kent~ NOCI DOAT
