HOW DO I VOLUNTEER to work a Fun Match?
    • Volunteer Worker Registration Form – for NOCI MEMBERS
        • The Volunteer Form for the NEXT fun match OPENS at 10:00 pm on the night of the current fun match.
            • The form is shut off when we have enough volunteers.
CAN I RUN MY DOG IF I’M A WORKER?
        •  Workers are allowed 2 FREE AKC-style RUNS, if desired.
            • Do NOT fill out a fun match entry form for your worker runs.
            • Just indicate on your volunteer registration that you want to take your free runs.  NO run-registration is necessary.
          • Worker runs start at 6:15 pm before the fun match starts at 7:00.
Assignments are NOT first-come, first-served.
    • We have to find the right balance between jobs, experienced workers, and new volunteers:
        • We train new people on-the-job — newcomers are welcome.
        • Volunteering does not guarantee you a worker position.
        • We try to rotate who gets assigned each month so more members get a chance to earn service credits.
        • Worker Assignments will be emailed to you the Tuesday before the Match at the latest.
            • Details will include names, jobs and ring assignments.
        • We reserve the right to choose volunteers who we think will best enable us to conduct a smooth, professional, enjoyable and successful fun match for all.
If I volunteer, then find out I’m not needed, can I still enter the Fun Match even if it has already filled?
    • YES!
        • Since our fun matches now have entry limits and might fill early — IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING — VOLUNTEER FIRST!  You’ll get 2 free runs as a volunteer.
        • If, by chance, you are not needed as a volunteer for this match, WE WILL GUARANTEE YOU TWO SPOTS IN THE FUN MATCH EVEN IF IT HAS FILLED — just email the Fun Match Secretary to enter and she will send you the payment link.
